This book is a tribute to Roberto Cabrera Padilla's (1939-2014) remarkable artistic and intellectual career, considered one of the fundamental art creators of the 20th century in Guatemala. The volume contains a collection of testimonies about the various facets of his work, as well as a fragment of the extensive interview between maestro Cabrera and Adriano Corrales, conducted in Costa Rica around 1999. Finally, it brings together a series of unpublished texts written by Cabrera himself, which give an account of his searches through art and theoretical reflection.
