La Tierra

Lift the flap ... and uncover the mysteries of our planet!Kids will love this entertaining and educational book about Earth's animals, habitats, and geology. Join an intergalactic explorer named Bip and learn about our very own Earth! Bip's mission is to visit our planet, and this friendly alien has lots to talk about. Kids just need to lift the flaps of this book to see Bip's amazing discoveries: each page asks several questions, such as how many tentacles an octopus has, with the answer appearing under a beautifully illustrated flap. Starting with Earth's place in the solar system and digging right down to its core, Bib reveals the secrets of the seas, from marine currents to big whales to the shells we love to collect; the North and South Poles (including how penguins prevent their eggs from freezing); the tropical rainforest, with its sloths, snakes, monkeys, and jaguars; the mountains, from the green valleys to the high pastures; deserts in the US and Africa; and the savannah, with its many fascinating creatures.
